FAQ

Q: How does auto‑connect and auto‑join work?

A: In the network settings you can enable “Auto‑connect on launch” and specify which channels should be joined automatically. When you start HexDroid it will establish the connections and join those channels without any extra taps.

Q: What bouncer support does HexDroid offer?

A: HexDroid includes built‑in support for ZNC and soju. For soju you can also use the BOUNCER BIND feature to handle multiple networks through a single bouncer instance. Just enter your bouncer details in the network configuration and the app will take care of the rest.

Q: Is my traffic encrypted by default?

A: Every connection in HexDroid uses TLS/SSL automatically unless you explicitly disable it in the advanced settings. This protects your nickserv passwords, channel messages, and file transfers from eavesdropping.
