West Escape is designed for effortless play. Move your character by pressing the screen with your thumb and sliding in any direction. . If you guide your character toward an obstacle and pause, they will automatically begin breaking it—provided your current tool is strong enough.

Your journey begins with a humble level-one pickaxe, barely capable of cracking even the smallest rocks. But as you traverse the desert and collect materials, you can upgrade your tool at the forge. Each improvement enhances your ability to break tougher obstacles, reach new areas, and uncover valuable resources.
