Major Rocks is the second release from Super Good Pixel, founded by a former Konami Art Director, and marks the debut title in the studio’s RETRO ARCADE line. Designed as a love letter to classic 1980s space shooters, the game reimagines old-school arcade intensity for the modern era while preserving the tight, skill-driven gameplay that defined a generation.

Play as an SGP Space Fighter with a single mission: clear hostile sectors and restore safety before fuel runs out. The galaxy is under threat from warping Zombie Mines, alien intruders, and drifting asteroids that turn each sector into a deadly survival challenge. 

Classic Arcade Survival Gameplay

Major Rocks delivers pure arcade action rooted in classic design. Fast reflexes, smart positioning, and controlled movement are essential. Constant shooting is not always the answer—sometimes reaching safety is the only way to survive.

Dangerous Enemy Variety

Sectors are invaded by Zombie Mines that warp in relentlessly and must be destroyed before fuel depletion. Alien intruders and stray asteroids add unpredictable threats, forcing quick adaptation and constant attention.

High Difficulty with Skill-Based Progression

The core experience is intentionally challenging, rewarding persistence and learning. Each attempt builds mastery as enemy patterns, movement timing, and survival strategies become clearer over time.

Easy Mode Option

Update 1.0.7 introduced an Easy Mode for those overwhelmed by the original Normal difficulty. This option allows a more accessible entry point while maintaining the game’s core mechanics and arcade feel.
