If you're in Auckland, you can use all of Tend’s services—both online and in-person—as a casual or enrolled patient. If you're elsewhere in New Zealand, you can book online video consultations as a casual patient.

2. Do I need to change my GP to use Tend?

No! You can book casual appointments without switching your GP. If you choose to enrol, you’ll enjoy lower fees and better continuity of care from the Tend team.

3. How do online appointments work?

Book a time or select the next available GP, and you’ll receive a video call in the Tend app at your appointment time. All you need is a smartphone or device with internet access.

4. Can I get prescriptions and test results through Tend?

Yes. Your prescriptions will be sent to your preferred pharmacy, and you can order repeats in the app. You’ll also have instant access to test results and appointment notes.

5. Is Tend safe and trustworthy?

Absolutely. Tend is fully compliant with New Zealand health regulations, and your personal data is protected by strict privacy policies and security protocols. Your information is never shared without your consent.
