What EasySync Keeps in Sync
1. Photos and Videos
• Automatically synchronizes images, videos, and screenshots that appear in your device’s gallery.
• This includes media stored in folders such as DCIM/, Pictures/, Movies/, and Download/.
• Files that exist only within specific apps—and do not appear in your gallery—are excluded.
• Messaging apps like WhatsApp, Signal, or Messages often let you choose whether to save media to your gallery. Only those saved in the gallery will be synchronized.
2. Audio and Music
• Syncs all visible sound files from folders such as Alarms/, Audiobooks/, Music/, Notifications/, Podcasts/, Ringtones/, and Recordings/.
• Note: Google’s built-in Voice Recorder saves files privately and uses its own cloud system. These files aren’t managed by EasySync.
3. Downloads
• Every file in your Download/ directory—whether PDFs, eBooks, documents, or images—will be synchronized seamlessly.
What EasySync Does Not Sync
If it is not specifically mentioned above, EasySync leaves it untouched. In particular, it does not synchronize:
• Apps or their data
• Messages and contacts
• Game progress
• Network settings (Wi-Fi, mobile data, etc.)
• Android system settings or personalization options
• Any files located on an SD Card
EasySync keeps your personal media close, your data private, and your workflow effortless—bridging the gap between your device and your digital storage with trust and transparency.
FAQ
Q: How does EasySync work?
A: Once you install EasySync and connect it to your WebDAV server, the app automatically monitors certain folders on your device—such as DCIM, Pictures, Movies, and Downloads—and syncs any new or changed files with the server. Every update you make locally or on the server stays reflected on both sides.
Q: Is EasySync really open-source?
A: Yes, EasySync is fully open-source. This means its code is available for review, modification, and improvement by anyone. Open-source development ensures transparency and allows the community to enhance security and features over time.
Q: Can I try EasySync before deciding to use it long-term?
A: Absolutely! A free trial is available. You can simply search for “EasySync trial” in the Play Store to download and explore all its features before committing to regular use.
