1. Why can’t I find any locations outside Canada?

The Alertable app currently supports only locations within Canada and does not provide alerts for other countries.

2. Will I receive alerts if I am offline?

An active cellular or Wi-Fi connection is required to receive alerts. If offline, alerts are queued temporarily and delivered once the device reconnects to the internet.

3. Why does Alertable use so much battery?

Battery use mainly comes from location updates, especially when “Follow Me” is enabled. Disabling this feature reduces battery consumption while still receiving alerts for manually selected locations.

4. Can I customize which alerts I receive?

Yes, users can select the types and severity levels of alerts they want, ensuring only relevant notifications are sent.

5. Are alerts accessible for users with disabilities?
